Suggested Itinerary for a 4 day stay

Day 1 Arrive in the Twin Cities
This evening take in a Timberwolves game (seasonal).

Day 2 Visit the American Swedish Museum this morning - it's the oldest museum of Swedish-Amercian arts, culture and history in the United States. Enjoy a Swedish smorgasbord lunch.

This afternoon head to the Mall of America where you can shop, amuse the kids on great rides at The Park at MOA, see exciting underwater creatures at Underwater Aquarium, stay for dinner and take in a movie.

Day 3 Go this morning to Burnsville or Maple Grove for a great time at ProKART Indoor Racing. Stop before returning to your hotel at Mystic Lake Casino for delicious food, some gambling fun or entertainment (they have a children's entertainment area).

Day 4 Spend the morning at Murphy's Landing in Shakopee to experience life as it was in the 1800's before departing for home.

Suggested Itinerary for a 3 Day stay

Day 1 Arrive in the Twin Cities. Enjoy great theater at
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres this evening.

Day 2 Start today with a visit to the Minneapolis Institute
of Arts - it has an internationally renowned collection from all over the world and admission is free.

Drive to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum where
you can have a picnic lunch before exploring this beautiful 1000 acres of rolling hills, woods, wetland, and native prairie.

Day 3 Visit the Minnesota Zoo this morning before returning home - 3000 animals represent over 400 species.

Suggested Itinerary - Do It For the Kids!

Day 1 Arrive in the Twin Cities. Visit The Park at the Mall of America and
Underwater Aquarium for the rest of today!

Day 2 The kids will have power-packed fun at Valleyfair,
(seasonal) the largest family amusement park in the Upper
Midwest!

Day 3 Take a boat ride on the Mississippi River or on
Lake Minnetonka (seasonal) before returning home or visit the Minnesota Zoo.

Suggested Itinerary - Do It For Mom! Shopping, that is!

Day 1 Arrive in the Twin Cities. Spend the rest of the day
in downtown Minneapolis to explore the many shopping delights.

Day 2 Start out at the Albertville Premium Outlets which
boasts 100 designer apparel and brand name outlets.

If you are a "shopper til you drop" go on to the Mall of America.

This evening you can relax at Canterbury Park for horse racing (seasonal) or in the Canterbury Card Club.

Day 3 Tired of shopping? How about relaxing at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum for a tour of the 1000 acre grounds followed by a delicious lunch before heading home.
